September has been a wonderful month of rain and sun, but I am excited to welcome fall! We have many activities planned, so keep an eye on the Frontera Calendar.

The Frontera Board of Directors are in their final review of the 2023 to 2027 Strategic Plan. The board and staff were led through the planning process by Prestige Consulting. We met four times in person and via zoom. We have some big goals in front of us. But we know we can do this your help and support, along with our continued accreditation status, our dedicated donors and our sponsors. Together we can make this happen!

Last day to submit for photo contest is today!!

Frontera will be conducting the annual site visits of our conservation easements and Resler Canyon Nature Preserve throughout the month of October, so if you see us out and about, please stop and say hi!

Also on Thursday, October 20 at noon you are invited to learn about the bond funds that will be on this fall’s ballot. Learn more during a Microsoft Teams meeting from noon to 1 p.m. for a 20-minute presentation by City of El Paso staff, followed by Q & A.
