Resler Race 2026
The goal of this event is to educate the community about the importance of preserving the land, show off the beautiful trails, and invite the public to join in on other adventures that The Frontera Land Alliance hosts throughout the year.
This year, the event will honor Charlie Wakeem, who passed away in May. Charlie was a key founder of Frontera, and his hard work was instrumental in protecting the Wakeem-Teschner Nature Preserve at Resler Canyon. Charlie spent his time after retirement advocating for open spaces in El Paso, as he loved its natural beauty.
Registration is open for both the 5K trail run and 1-mile family walk. To learn more and register, please go to 2026 Resler Trail Race & Family Walk
